As you know, my book Gay Porn Heroes was recently nominated for a TLA Gay Award as Best Photo/Art Book. The winners were announced tonight and, unfortunately, I lost. Porn Awards: The pre-nominations period has kicked off for the 2012 FlavaMen Blatino Awards honoring the best in ethnic clubs and performers, adult models, films and websites. The awards are sponsored by FlavaMen Magazine and administered by the Flava Works production company. Online voting will determine the initial set of nominees as well as the winners. Porn Awards: Voting for the 2012 TLA Gay Awards concludes soon. The nominees were determined by TLA’s staff in a variety of adult-biz categories, as well as gay publishing and filmmaking. As I blogged earlier this month, Gay Porn Heroes, my first tome, is up for Best Photo/Art Book (see the link below). However, for the last couple of years GPTimes has been cited for Twitter Maniac: Most Prolific in the Biz. But I didn’t make the cut this year, so I guess I’ll have to step up the pace. Porn Awards: Constant Readers in Chicago have an opportunity to be clued in early to the 2012 Grabby Awards nominations announcement Wednesday night.
